Since its earliest days in the Capital Region, Camp Good Days and Special Times could count on Paul Wein to help kick-start services to families of children afflicted with cancer.
He played a major role in sending the first group of kids to its camp in the Adirondacks and has been counted on ever since to play varying roles to ensure a strong foundation for the camp and the children it serves.
``He was one of the original volunteers,'' said Simpson, the organization's Capital Region coordinator.
