NSW: Oppn announces overhaul for workers' compensation
SYDNEY, Feb 28 AAP - NSW coalition plans to overhaul the state's workers' compensationscheme were today welcomed by the business lobby.
Opposition Leader John Brogden promised a coalition government would overhaul the schemein a bid to improve rehabilitation rates, cut fraud, and give special recognition forpolice and emergency services workers.
The policy includes plans for the establishment of a board of rehabilitation standards,as well as a new WorkCover fraud investigation unit.
